Product Description
This production line uses corn starch, cassava starch, or potato starch as the main raw materials. Through a twin-screw extrusion process under specific temperature, pressure, and shear conditions, the starch is transformed into a gelatinized thermoplastic flow state, achieving partial α-structure modification. The resulting modified (pregelatinized) starch features good solubility and processing adaptability, and is suitable for various applications in construction materials, textiles, food processing, pharmaceutical excipients, oil drilling, and paper manufacturing industries.
The modified starch extrusion equipment developed by Saixin is designed with optimized barrels and high-strength alloy screws. It adopts a combined water and oil cooling system to ensure stable temperature control during operation. The screws are surface-nitrided to improve wear resistance and service life.
The equipment supports multi-stage temperature control, with screw speed precisely regulated by a variable frequency drive. Operating parameters can be preset, enabling continuous and automated production. The system is well-structured and user-friendly, helping to improve production efficiency and product consistency.
The DZ140 twin-screw extruder is an in-house developed core machine by Saixin, with a throughput capacity ranging from 800 to 1200 kg/h. It is suitable for large-volume modified starch production in various industries, and can be customized according to specific customer requirements.
